| Professional Development Webinar
The Chancellor’s Office is teaming up with the Leadership Institute for Tomorrow (LIFT) for a series of professional development webinars. The Classified Professional Leadership and Career Advancement Series has been informed and inspired by classified professionals' responses to the DEIA professional development needs assessment survey. The first webinar is set for Friday, March 1st and will focus on forming a successful partnership with your boss. Student Leadership Award – Nomination Deadline Approaching
There’s just one week left to send in your nominations for the Student Leadership Award. The annual award recognizes community college student leaders who demonstrate the highest level of commitment to leadership and Vision 2030. The deadline to submit a nomination is February 23, 2024.
Up to three recipients will be announced and recognized at the annual Student Senate for California Community Colleges Spring General Assembly. Each recipient will receive a $1,250 cash award and a commemorative certificate. Please visit our Board of Governors Recognition and Awards webpage for full details.
2024 Classified Employee of the Year Awards
Nominations are needed for the 2024 Classified Employee of the Year Awards. The awards recognize and celebrate classified staff throughout the community college system that exemplify Vision 2030 and a demonstrated commitment to equitable student outcomes in their local community. Do you know someone that fits that description? If so, send us your nominations by March 29, 2024.
